Each fall, our Rhetoric Stage students step in front of an audience to do what four years of classical training prepares them for: argue well, in public, about something that matters.
Debate Night is the culmination of a semester of work in rhetoric and composition. Students research a resolution, build a case, anticipate objections and defend their reasoning under questioning — not to win a trophy, but to practice communicating truth with clarity and grace.
All families are welcome, and there is no charge to attend. Younger students in the Grammar and Logic stages are especially encouraged to come and see what lies ahead of them.
